Aero Femme Non-Profit Organization & Scholarship Fund was founded in 2010 by Ariel Talen-Keller. Aero Femme was founded to encourage and educate women of all ages to become involved in all types of aviation, and to promote women's contributions to aviation. Educating the next generation of women to keep the aviation community strong, not only for general aviation but in our country’s military as well. The aviation career field is so diverse with pilots, air traffic controllers, maintainers, to safety inspectors – the opportunities are endless for women.
Mrs. Keller has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Oregon and a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She also attended UND Aerospace for flight and air traffic control training. Mrs. Keller is also a former Mrs. Alaska, a former national title-holder, and now holds the lifetime title of Ms. United America Ambassador. She has earned four President’s Volunteer Service Awards for her community service and was nominated for the Alaska Journal of Commerce ‘Top 40 Under 40’.
Aero Femme organization & scholarships are nationally recognized and Mrs. Keller continues to travel throughout Alaska and around the United States speaking about Aero Femme outreach programs & scholarships.
